Whānau Focus Endowment Fund

The team at the centre are restoring the sacredness of whānau, empowering them to be self-sustaining, regaining purpose and hope, reducing occurrence or reoccurrence of family violence, stress and dependence on substance abuse.

They do this by walking alongside whānau, supporting them to reach their self-determined goals. This opens up a world of possibilities, bringing previously inconceivable goals within reach.

The Whānau Focus Centre offers:

• Kaimahi tautoko whanau, providing one to one parenting support and advocacy for vulnerable whānau

• Tu Tamariki mentoring, which focuses on providing positive male role models for boys 8-16

• Social worker support to identify goals and coaching that enable those to be achieved

• Robust wraparound support and services
