Whether we participate on the field or on the sideline, many Kiwis love to be involved in sport. Our Northland Sport Endowment Fund gives you the opportunity to ensure young (and older) Kiwis stay fit and active.
In 2016, Sport Northland and the Northland Community Foundation (NCF) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the establishment of a Northland Sport Endowment Fund. This fund is invested through Craigs Investment Partners, with the interest being delivered annually as a grant or scholarship, when the endowment fund has grown and matured. The original donations remain in the fund, allowing it to grow and provide an ongoing funding stream for sport across Northland.
With annual grants delivered through Sport Northland, your gift can help anyone in active recreation and sport – a young sportsperson, teams, coaches, tamariki, adults or seniors. It could even go towards sports facilities or a particular sporting code such as netball, hockey, football, or swimming to name a few.
Both Sport Northland and the Foundation encourage all Northlanders who love active recreation and sport to consider donating or leaving a gift in their will to the Northland Sport Fund.
