The Child Health Fund supports the team based at The Child Health Centre, part of the Whangārei Hospital Campus. The Child Health Unit is a purpose-built unit for the assessment of childhood medical, physical and developmental problems. The team's vision is to enable opportunities for children to live, learn, play and thrive.
As well as running the Child Health Centre, The Child Health Team also run the Whangarei Children's Ward and Neonatal Ward (SCBU), and Child Health Clinics at Kaitaia, Dargaville, Bay of Island Hospitals, Kaikohe and Rawene.
Your donation to the Child Health Fund could be used to buy additional medical equipment, toys or decorations to make the clinics a welcoming place for the children and their whanau, or a special thank you for the staff.
